Imakatsu makes a lot of great swimbaits however, Imakatsu as a brand has never really taken off here in the US. Today, I go over a swimbait that I think guys will have a lot of success with that no one is really fishing! The Imakatsu Javallon 200 has a unique swim and is great for skipping in heavy cover!

  1. Just bought my favorite reel, a abu big shooter compact in almost perfect condition with some small scratches, would it be able to handle the hinkle trout and mother? And what lbs test would you run for those glides?

  2. Dope video Geoff I have caught some giant stripers on the javallon 200. They have some really good colors too like you mentioned in the video. Thank you as always for the consistent quality uploads it’s always appreciated.

  3. Hey man, great video, very informative! Ill definetly be trying one of these in the urban ponds around Phx.

I know another guy said he was glad this wasnt a pond video but im definetly still looking for those. These urban ponds are still pretty much the only thing I fish and its been a struggle to get these bass with this pressure. Any tips youre still hiding, or any recommended baits youve got (that preferrably arent $120) for things like chapparal or papago would be a godsend.

Always appreciate the represent, much love bro

  4. Great video! No livescope! No pond video! No spinning rods! That’s what we like to see! And also informative. Great convo and great video quality also! Some music would get the adrenaline pumping but not necessary.

  5. Jeff do you have any idea why bait makers put the tails on sideways like this bait and flukes tons of soft plastics in fluke style baits have the tail like that, I can’t imagine why other than it helping the bait to glide by it being flat sideways

  6. Amazing I’m glad you shared this with us definitely I’m going to be purchasing one !!!I was wondering what shimano new rod would be best for deps 250 and down to 4 oz keep in mind 250 is my main bait thank you in advance!

  7. threw the javallon way back……at least 15 years ago. Usually about a 5 to 8 inch baits. Lake Fork Magic Shad basically reproduces a 4 inch verision

  8. Lake HibarašŸŽ‰, k love Imakatsu, i think i by the first lure around 2008, a Dilemma 60 jerkbait and a lot more, like the Bigroid 210 for Pike and DVD's Top Secret Return, the Perch that's my profil picture got caught with a 3" Bushido Craw on the Carolinarig. So i catch a lot with Imakatsu lures.

  9. I have the 160 and I love it!! I’ve been keeping an eye on the 200 that’s been out of stock since you originally dropped this video. So when will you guys be getting the 200 size back in?? It says ā€œSOLD OUTā€ on the website. …..?? Don’t they also make it in a 260??
