I live in windy Wyoming where non windy days are not the normal. You're correct, a pole mount when spot locked is absolutely the best option. The trolling motor is constantly moving and working hard keeping positioned. It's so windy in Wyoming that I wore the brushes out on my Minn Kota Terrova 24v 80lb thrust in three years. I haven't used it motor mounted wishing I could. Keep up the good work with your videos.
You are a machine! 🔨
What size hook are you using on that underspin Jigsaw I see they come with four different sizes. Thank you.
Heading to Rainy next week. Can you share your rod and line set up when using large swim baits? I have some 3/8 Smeltinators with 3/0 hooks. Are those about right using Candy Eye plastics? Is color critical in jig head and plastic? Great video!
How do you like your Striker gear? Just got rained on on Eagle in Ontario last week. My frogg toggs crushed as usual but im kinda looking at less trash bagggy type options lol
I love using underspins for all species!❤️🎣
I grew up watching Al and Ron. Nice to see the next, next generation getting after it. Great job, I'm binge watching!
Another informative video, thanks! Your fishing in a beautiful spot!
how many walleyes do you typically catch a day???
You’re the man, Nick!
It's almost like you were sight fishing smallies on the rocks. What depth do you generally use these baits for walleyes? I want to fish like this when the wind has blown or is blowing into the rocks, but always feel like I'm wasting my time casting (as opposed to trolling or slip bobbering) for walleyes. Don't have spot lock or FF sonar. Great point about the need for boat control vs. fishing where you'd rather fish. If it makes sense and it does… FUNNEST IS a word.
Over spins-under spins plastics, live bait, are everything in the lake slayers;) we troll them a lot. Hope you had fun up North with the boys!
Great video, Keep it up. How deep were you fishing?
Thanks Nick. Well done.
Wow that blue walleye was so pretty ❤️❤️❤️❤️
These are the trips you always remember! Tough conditions can often pay off! Thanks for the video Nick!
Great job Nick!👍
VERY NICE! HIGH FIVE!
Oh it's nice to get a little inside information from some friends on the baits to use😊
Is this the rainy trip?
Nice Walleyes 🎣🐟
Nice walleye chop
How are you not more popular. You are truly growing to be my favorite walleye youtuber man! Keep it the awesome content man!
Great lesson Nick! Swim baits are my favorite way to catch them. I don’t usually use an under spin but I’m going to try it!
Youre a great walleye fisherman and a fanastic teacher – thx for the tips
Good video, Nick. Way to overcome and tuff it out!
Those blueish tint walleyes were beauties! Great tips once again Nick! Out there getting it done!
I always enjoy your videos if you have trouble or not, I've got underspins but haven't used them next time out I'll give it a good start, thank you for you and thank God for everything
Great video!
