My Profile:
http://www.mattstefanfishing.com/

I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I’ve been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I’ve qualified for six MLF Championships and won roughly a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.

  1. Got an email today: On October 15, 2021, Tackle Warehouse, LLC (“Tackle Warehouse”) became aware of a potential data security incident. They got an old expired Credit card of mine, name, address, etc…

  2. Gooood solid advice!!! I have the 3 and 4 mm size glass beads, which I put in some worms and creature baits, never thought about puttting them in the swim baits. I order mine off Amazon – soooo mich cheeeeper than BPS or the other big online tackle folks.

  3. Smart tip, Matt. Bait-rattles may sound subtle and not so easy for US to hear through the air, but bass have keen hearing and sound is louder and travels further underwater. Anxious to try your tip.

  4. I like this one….I've done it with worms but never thought of the swim bait with a rattle. Thanks for the tips, tricks and secrets it really helps out us regular anglers. I got to your channel on a recommendation from Randy….glad I did. Your sponsors are spending their money wisely. 👍👍👍

  5. Not really needed if u buy Berkeley swim baits as they are engineered for the tail movement. Anytime, u start messing around with lures on your own, you are defeating all the research and experimentation that companies put in before making a retail version. I use Berkeley swim baits on their own (straight out of the plastic) and always catch something regardless of water depth and weather. You don't need sinkers if u use the right oz for the lure.

  6. Hey Matt love your stuff…i have a box of beat up frogs from those Mississippi Dogfish they either take water on or don't swim right..do you ever use this glue on your frogs to seal? Any tips for fixing a sinker? Or to help them swim right again?

  7. I thought of that about 2 years ago and started doing it because that wagging tail works even better on a swimbait than a regular soft plastic. Have you experimented with storing Mend-it at room temp vs. refrigerated vs. frozen, to see which last longest? I have Aquaseal glue for my wader hole repairs and they say it stores best frozen. I won’t buy Mend-it until I have enough torn baits accumulated to use at least most of the bottle.
