The difference is the design of the flag it took like 15 years in the making and Berkley did a knock off is a week 😂.That’s why they are the Kings of Knockoffs
I have a family and can't justify spending $90 on a fishing lure. So, I'm not pissed about having a cheaper option for anything. There's nothing new under the sun, and I'm assuming both companies are doing ok with their respective business models. I would bet that the knock off has made more people aware that the original exists.
Wish these companies would come out with a Smaller one shaped like a big Croaker for Saltwater fishing speckle trout , Flag has one that kind of resembles it but JDM expensive , Berkley needs to make one bad for us way down South all along the Gulf , Mikey those baits are fire in the water , thanks for showing us

Berkeley rips off every jdm company, dont think they ever come up on their own for any of their top baits but at least they make it reasonable price

Just an FYI, there is a mesh in the Grow Designs The Flags are way better to be honest. Those that deny it just don’t have any to compare.
I assume it’s best to use fluorocarbon to help keep the Nessie down in the water or were you using a monofilament line?
The Nessie revolutionized my big speckling trout fishing last year. Need to try the jdm and see if it’s even better

I know for sure you're a real one choosing the nessie. Good on you for not getting over emotional about the the fact its a knock off. Everything is a knock off of something. The fact grow designs charges so much is LUDICROUS.

cool but ill never spend that much for 1 bait. especially when i bet something as cheep as a fluke will out fish that bait.

I decided not to buy any more Berkeley baits, they steal so many good Japanese designs, without even trying to hide it or add their own twist

The crush city Bronco bug is a straight up knock off of the OSP dolive beaver. Look at how many companies now have a bait that is just like the megabass dark sleeper. US companies have not had an original idea for a bait in years. Love all your videos you tell it like it is and that is awesome!!!!
