I had a few fish catches because I had to net a fish for my friend. Just waiting that 15 seconds I would start to feel bites off the bottom

This worked for me today…got a 6.15, 5.48 and 5.13 were my three biggest along with a couple of 4s and several quality fish…thanks Randy for sharing I’ll definitely try again

Last year I was out fishing my buddy in the same boat cause I was yo-yo a chatterbait in 10fow on a weedline
I was doing this at Harris chain had the biggest bad I ever had in Dora doing this over shell beds and my rod loaded I started realling in and boom came unpinned I was like wow just feeling that size bass on the other end of my rod was wild
I know three colors are black/blue,green pumpkin and white ,what about chart/white I’m getting into more chatterbaits and swim jigs
I never caught on too the Cbait..
I know there deadly…blades are very effective however i threw them but during COMP…I HAD to return to my basic tactics for tour..i got outfished by the Cbait..too

I caught a 9 pounder out of a bush last March flipped it in there and pump it up she grabbed it up about half way up black and blue jackhammer with swamp water blue rage bug

Hey Randy, do I need a specific rod made for chatterbaits? What do you recommend?
I've tried the same technique with a lipless crank without much luck (maybe I didn't let it stay on bottom long enough) but I'll give it a try with a chatter and see what happens
I love chatter baits, but a $10-15 lure is spendy for me.
I've been catching them good on chatterbaits I make myself, with the zman shaped blade
I figured this out 10 years ago just by practicing it , it worked so good I'd never use the technique around anyone or told anyone .
I’ve been throwing a homemade orange chatter bait for over two decades now. Wave Fishing used to make a sweet potato swim bug that would get destroyed during the pre-spawn on the Potomac, as a trailer…. specifically in areas where large goldfish schooled.💯

Caught a five pounder today on a black jackhammer. I trimmed the skirt to just behind the hook. Use yamamoto fire crawl as the trailer. PERFECT MATCH. Been hammering the 2 pounders and today got a pig.
