  1. There is a video out interviewing the guy that developed the baby bull shad, and he said you should wake bait it as an escaping bait fish for it to be most effective.

  2. You have to give it more action, you did way to much of just steady fast reeling with no jerking which makes your lure look pretty boring instead of a half dead fish trying to swim

  3. Megabass magdraft, river2sea s waver, spro, big hammer shoot there are soooo many swimbaits that won't break the bank that are killer baits. I think I've caught more calico bass on bighammers then live bait.

  4. The maker of the bait says fish it towards the top and fast. So don't let it sink much. And burn it in. Watch tactical Bassin's video where they have the owner in the boat showing you how to fish it. That is what he says. Towards the top and fast.

  5. I fished this unconventional.. on. 8:1:1 with 50 pound braided line in about 4 foot of water.. pearl bone… fished it fast looked like a wake bait.. and it hammered fish. Especially where I would just dead stop and give it a couple jerks then rip it through had fish miss it and casted right over same method and trust and believe they didn’t miss it.

  6. Keep trying at it dude. One of the best baits I've ever used by far, in almost any type of water. Better for shallow areas though I've noticed, especially with rocky bottoms. Good luck Logan!

  7. My mans, that lure slaughters fish when I use it. I tend to fish it like a lipless: I pull to the side, reel slack, pull to the side, reel slack. Seems to get SMACKED right after the pause every time. Stick with the swimbaits around spring and fall transitions for best results though from my experience.
