So far an Alabama rig has been my best bait to help learn ffs. I had never caught a fish on one before, caught 10 yesterday in a couple hrs. All eating threadfin in 20+ft of water. It really is addicting.
I use it at times but think the sport would be better if it wasn’t invented. I know it makes catching easier but no one said fishing is supposed to be easy.

Alot of the lakes i fish you just have to fish spots you know hold fish and watch them rise off the bottom or fishcrib/tree brushpile, panfishing is steller.
