Idk if its just my area (central ohio) but fish here WILL NOT hit moving baits. Especially in the cold weather. Never caught anything on a lipless ever.
Whoa you dropped this one late. Can we get an early March list?
Thank you for the info on BIA took me 15 min to get squared away.
I believe people are intimidated by winter fishing more because they don't know the where instead of the what. Finding Fish is the challenge in winter. Tho If someone was gonna drop me on a lake I'd never been in say 48 degree water and I could pick 3 baits. Id pick a shallow crank, a jig and Texas or Carolina rigged plastic. Wanna say I appreciate all your help with your tips. You are a big reason why we are fishing bassmaster opens. About to get into our 2nd event here shortly finished 12th at Clark's hill so a good start. Thanks brother!
Any tips for South Holston this time of year?
Great choices sir. The jerk bait, and that Angler Tungsten Eclipse head with a Bass Munitions Patriot swimbait have been the deal for me in the winter. #100percentwatchsquad
Thank you for the tips and suggestions Hank your channel is always putting out amazing content. I appreciate everything you do for us geeks. Keep the videos coming I know 2025 is gonna be your year, as always tight lines and have a great rest of your week !!!
Thanks Hank great tips bud 👍
#100percentwatchsquad I got some of those clear wraps and I really like them. Much better than the ones I had before. The only thing is, I wish they were a bit bigger. Other than that, best wraps around, especially for the money.
The. Comment. Of. A rig through an ice fishing hole. 🕳️😄. On my tip ups. I’ve rigged what they call Cowbell Red & white glow beads. With a Colorado blade.every 3-4”. About 5-6. Hook hanging below. Some sort of minnow Attracting a lot of fish too it.
I caught 3 dinks this week but old man winter is back now
Wow Video Good Nice🎉🎉🎣🐟🐠🎣
Some solid information Hank! Thanks for sharing! #100percentwatchsquad!
No thanks. Ill keep cleaning and organizing my stuff and hugging a space heater for a few more weeks.
Great info Hank, thanks!
Hank is the northern side of S.Holston lake up in the river section really better for smallmouth than the S. Holston river in your opinion this time of the year? Thanks for what you do.
10:26 or on ali express 4 for 6$
Same overpriced thing everyones selling you……
You said it right the first time lol
Looks like Holston a little low?
I'm looking forward to getting on the water! #100percentwatchsquad
New to the channel but your videos keep me coming back. What’s your option on bfs bait casters?
This transition doesn’t start in MA for a few months. Most of my lake are still frozen solid. I do like a good lipless crank like the Lucky Craft LV500 or a square bill crank bait like the 6th sense flat finesse during this transition. #100PWS
It was good finally talking to you at the ramp the other day.
I've been on a bad dry spell in February. May need to get me some new baits.
Another outstanding video, Hank! Haven't been able to get out on the water so far this month, but I'm going with your recommendations. Have a great week, my friend!
Great information Hank! #100PWS
Great video but I still have ice lol here in Michigan
I get excited this time of year. I'm ready to get on the water. I just got home from looking at a boat in your neck of the woods. I blew the horn as I went by lol. The guy said he used to work with you or something. His name is Sherman. I'll be going to pick it up this weekend.
Great video as always Hank. Great info. Hundo squad here
My favorite time of year fish, some good info in this video.. #100watchsquad
Great video Hank. I wish I could fish rn. I just got hit with 1’ of snow 😢. Keep these videos coming 🤙🏽
100percentwatchsquad
The old school Rapala lipless in 1/2 or 3/4 great too and won't break the bank.
Anybody that doesn’t fish in February is missing out on the 2nd best month of the year. Second only to March in my opinion, at least on these highland reservoirs I fish.
