Hey All. This was great fun! I spent several days testing the 6-inch version of each of these swimsuits: the Megabass Magdraft, the Strike King Final Copy and the Berkley Cull Shad. All three of these are great baits but, just because they look similar, doesn’t mean they perform similarly. In this video I compares the physical properties of the boots as well and 10 lessons I learned fishing them. Enjoy!

Nice job. It was useful. Very curious to hear the brighter, craw color works better in these conditions.
Can you give the specifics on the spinning rod and reel you were using when throwing the swimbaits.
The Magdraft is designed to fish with a snap
to be clear, those are not LARGE swim baits, they are SMALL swim baits. the Deps 250 is a large swimbait. Bro, those hooks are SUPPOSED to go inside the bait with two points sticking out. Your hook up ratio is suffering the way you rig them.
I have tested wayyyy morethan 3. The Jackal Dunkle in my opinion is the best Belly hook bait, then cullshad, megalo john, zaldangerous, 5inch magdraft, then the strike king final copy. I have been testing them for the past 14months. With the exception of the weedless cullshad and saltwater cullshad. If u factor them in the 4 inch saltwater cullshad is king of the belly hook baits in fresh or saltwater
I have all three of the baits mentioned but haven’t fished them yet….got them this year and the lakes here are finally open. This was very helpful in my eyes. Thank you for sharing your opinion and the video. 🍻🍻
I personally think the bass mafias swimbait is just magnificent.
The Magdraft is NOT durable. 100%facts
Good video when you go up to that eight inch you weed out Some of those dinks
I hope this is helpful. I was surprised at how accessible and easy these lures were to throw. Enjoy and please subscribe for more bait comparisons. Cheers!
