In this video I talk with my friend and fishing guide Myles Murray about fall bass fishing mistakes we make and don’t even know we’re making. We also talk about fishing lures and baits to use during fall to catch more fish as they move to creeks in pursuit of shad and other forage.

Great video , and congrats on the new gloves !
Sound advice! Applied it this weekend and cashed a check! It’s a true grind and covering ground is key!
in with your bud on jjs.ive seen the difference on the colorado river.no bites to getting bit every other cast.
After I heard you say they be hitting at noon. I checked my fish forecast which, a few people say don't work. But I notice the noon forecast has the largest active window. Thank you
Your the second Big G fisherman I've heard say there's no need to get there early right now. Glad to hear that, I'd rather sleep in a bit anyway.
Here on the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, you just have to grind until low tide. This time of year, the bass start schooling on Shad. When they start busting, you can do no wrong.
That's gotta be the toughest part about fall fishing. You know there's stuff happening and there's fish there but you can't get em to eat. Makes you go crazy but if u grind you can get some fattys stocking up for winter. Love your videos man! Your the every man's fishing youtuber lol. Great stuff. Time to get them jokers!
Good vid!
My Fall mistake happened yesterday unsnagging a Rattlin Rogue. Shot out of a tree and implanted those trebles into my finger. I was out in the middle of nowhere so I resorted to the pliers in my tackle box and pulled them out myself. Felt awesome 😡
Awesome tips! Fall fishing can be absolutely brutal 👍
This is my first time really fishing the Fall. At First it was a little hard but after following all the tips I learned it has been fun. Last week I had one of the best fishing days I’ve had. I was fishing off the bank and caught about 15-16 largemouth. However, what I noticed at least where l live is that Fall fishing changes (beginning of Fall, Mid, and end of Fall). Stay experimental and don’t give up Fall fishing can really up your skills.
Always learn so much from your videos!!
Awesome vid Mikey. If you ever feel like making it to Ky I'd love to meet up and catch some fish.
That vid is in the highlight reel for 2020.
I’m watching, but I keep seeing that old red trailer with the bunks that need re-carpeted. One is totally rotted out…lol
Hey Bog!
It can be tough sometimes but I love fall fishing! Awesome video!
man I love fall fishing I catch tons of fish in the fall!
Was he throwing top water on the dam??
I could have really used this information last week fishing the BBT on Guntersville. I have a love hate relationship with Guntersville, love it before I fish and hate when I'm leaving!
Yes Mikey it matters. Spots destroy anything dipped in JJs…. IMHO but don't let it get on your carpet, lol….. Good info sir
Thanks great tips…
On your finesse jig, what do you mean by thread your chunk on it? I know what a chunk is how do you thread it as opposed to just putting it on?
Ole 'nibble dick' lmfao. No one else caught that?
Glad somebody else feels that way 🤣. It’s the season I struggle with the most. Winter and summer are by far my favorites!
Not sure why but I love your non fishing vids man. I could sit and shoot the crap with you guys all day. Keep em coming.
Coosa River Chain has been really tough this fall. Numbers hasn't really been too much of an issue, but I might catch 1 keeper out of every 8 fish I catch. Ive tried upsizing my baits some and I just don't get any bites. Also it doesn't help that Alabama Power just came and sprayed all of the grass. Better days are ahead though.
Awesome vid Mikey! Love it when you have Miles on there. Never met him, but seems like a super guy and Guide. 🙂
Thanks Mikey for this Video. and Myles also. Two pages of notes. Have ALL the rods/reels/LURES for sure, but this really helps me leave the "experimental" ones at home!
I am sure this will work on Pickwick also (really tough now too!).
