  1. I grew up in North Dakota back in the 40's-50's, river fishing with my Grandpa. Rivers were pretty much all we had. I truly enjoy watching you searching those waters for some beautiful musky catches. The last one that followed the lure, ingesting it by the 'yak, Impressive to say the least. Those St. Croix Rods and lures we have today are a notable improvement over the five foot True Temper glass rod, Ocean City reel, and lazy ikes or flatfish lures. Back then one rod and reel did it all..Thanks for sharing. Beautiful Muskies.

  2. I'm always curious on the size you're catching. I know you're tall as hell so its always difficult to tell lol. I'm guessing that second one was 44ish??

  3. Do you guys in the US have a close season on the rivers? Here in the UK our season is closed between March 15th to June 15th. Had two short sessions last night and the night before, caught the same Pike both nights, my pb on the lure, 21lb 3oz! Beautiful big girl, couldn't believe it!!!

  4. 5 sex bots reported, but good video as always. Can't wait for the pre-spawn to start. Also, quick question about 3:36…wouldn't using clear leaders be better for these fish anyway because they're sight hunters?

  5. This guy is like the Bob Ross of YouTube fishermen. He gives off “hello everyone, let’s see if we can catch some happy little fish today” vibes. Way more enjoyable than the other ones who are all in the camera and don’t actually start fishing until about 15 minutes into the video.
