The Soft Paddle Tail Swimbait is the Only lure you will need for Fall Bass Fishing! You can rig it in different types of hooks but in this video, i opted for the weedless swimbait hook from VMC. size 4/0 and 1/8 oz. My friend used 3/0 1/8th oz for his smaller Gambler Little EZ Swimbait while i used the bigger for my JP Swinging Hammer from PowerTeam Lures. Here are the list of brands that i recommend for soft paddle swimbaits:
Keitech – Swing Impact Fat or the regular Swing Impact (3.3″ and up)
PowerTeam Lures: JP Swinging Hammer (only in 4.8″ size)
Gambler EZ Swimbaits (there are so many sizes and colors)
Bass Pro Shops – Speed Shad (alternative to Keitechs)
Reaction innovation – Skinny Dipper (probably will see these at Dicks sporting goods along with Keitechs)

Love swimbaits all year round where there is grass or wood, I use EWG hooks with weight in front gives a unique action when lure is falling …..great video bud and info . Sweet catches too

Great video man! What kind of line are you using with the swimbait? Looks like 15 lb braid with a leader?
I don't go bass fishing much but ill have to take a trip to malaga lake one day. Ive heard of some good sized bass there, nothing breaking any records but lots of fish. If you follow the channel you can get pickerel, bluegills, perch, crappies, and even bass. By the park there is a bunch of Lily pads they hang out in. Also by the bridge.

Nice work Jimmy! I will have to try the swimbait this fall. I have been doing pretty good with the Whopper Plopper and a Yum Dinger as a follow up bait.

What makes soft swimbaits so deadly is the fact they can be fished so many ways and depths and they come in so many sizes to match the hatch or go big to target trophy bass which is what I'm after.
I'll have to pick some up and try them out!
