This video is from an afternoon fishing trip to New Melones at the end of May 2021. We had a great afternoon of Swimbaiting for post-spawn Spotted and Largemouth Bass. We didn’t have any huge fish, but we had a blast throwing swimbaits.
The majority of the fish we caught this day were on Bluegill swimbaits, which is typical for post spawn conditions. We fished a mix of Jackall and UFO swimbaits.
It was Windy and blowing 5-20mph for most of the afternoon. Water temperatures were 72-78 at various locations throughout the lake

Nice job with the swimbaits, that bite looked WFO. They weren't huge fish, but looked like tons of fun
Surprised the smaller bass hit that bait. Were you guys throwing the full size Gantarel or Jr?
