I did a video about this a while ago but thought I would share what I’ll be tossing this upcoming year. Plus, I’m getting stir crazy.

I see this is an older video. But something about big swimbaits!! It's an addiction…I have a bunch. Just ordered a few savage gear pulse tail 4D 8".. look awesome! What's your preference on line to use with these big baits?
8 lbs 15 oz… I'm waiting for you Miss Minnesota 10
Great video.you hooked me.what s good for fl shallow water lakes?
Nice video
Iām not a fan of the S-waver ,, the action just doesnāt look right ,,
Hey man I hope you have some mend-it! It fixies up those Hudds like new
Dude really nice video I enjoyed it!! šššššš
Iām in Kansas and I want to get into swimbait fishing but idk
Just came upon this video and very good info. This is my first year swimbait fishing and I bought nothing but Savage Gear swimbaits and they have been producing for me. I am mainly targeting pikes but the bass will hit them too. I am also in Minnesota as well so it would be nice to link up sometime for some fishing. Tight line and looking forward to more content!!!
I love savage gear., they are owned by Okuma,, Canadian company,, I love the shine glide glide bait and all the line thru baits
I'm so glad I grew up and live in the southwest lol
Have you tried the new pulse tail savage gear trout
Helpful video Iām slowly getting into swimbaits had a few trackers on the swaver 168 and a couple catches on a gantarel jr. Looking to get a deps 175 and 250 soon. Btw Iām in SoCal so weāre spoiled here haha but those are good numbers for your area !
Awesome video
I appreciate your work, and enjoy watching your videos!!
What part of Minnesota are you in. Iām near DL and Iām throwing pretty big baits too. Been getting bit on rising sons and jsj gills.
I've caught numerous fish on 10" baits. A few under 4lbs. But here in Mississippi they grow BIG!
Cool you should check out ospreys on tackle warehouse they have a 12 inch in dark hitch and there only 20 bucks
The other great thing about the line through is if your fishing for northern or musky they don't bite up the lure as much.
How do you feel about the storm swimbaits. I am only 14 and can't really afford these so I usually go with those. I like the 06-08 paddle tails and the wildeye shads.
This is excellent content bro, to answer your question, a Deps 175 and a River2Sea S waver 168 will produce the same size fish as the bigger baits. I have had seven and eight pounders track and smash my bait in New Jersey and Connecticut. It really all depends on your cadence for the particular weather conditions and time of year. Sometimes fluorocarbon and monofilament play a big role also. The bottom line is if you have confidence in throwing that style of bait there are no limits. My brother Justin is friends with Oliver Ngy from big bass dreams, and he showed us firsthand what you can do with this style of bait in New Jersey and New York. You can take this style anywhere and catch fish. I personally have had two pounders completely commit to a Megabass I slide 262. Nice job and keep up the good work big dog. šš
Enjoyed the video and subbed! I live in CT so I totally understand a 5 to 7 lb bass being a big bass. I have that exact savage gear 3d trout but have yet to fish with it hopefully this spring. Another good savage gear lure is the 3d shine glide…great action and colors definitely give it a try!
What rod and reel do you use and what brand of line do u use and test??
