The cheap Chinese knock off swimbaits in that size work just as good and they look better . The price is ridiculous for what you get and it don't work any better then the $3 aliexpress knock off swimbaits .

Hey I just found your channel and I love it! I am just getting into swimbait fishing and I was wonder if a regular sized baitcasting reel would be good for throwing 1 3/4- 2 oz baits.
Being searching for a swimbait on the less expensive side, but isn't complete trash. Just picked up a pearl bone one. Thanks for the review

It might be designed after the bullshad but….. it’s plastic not resin. I’m sure it will work great but the durability will go down just a little.
