Barramundi on the Defiant 247 Swimbait Big Barra Dreams Part 16

Day 8 of the Big Barra Dreams tour brings us back to an inland dam outside of Mackay, Queensland in the Northeast of Australia. Oliver Ngy is fishing for more inland barramundi with Ash Sims @AshFishinMagician & Ian Miller of @MillerRods.

One last session for the boys before they have to make a 12 hour drive south to get Oliver to the airport to fly back to the states. The initial plan was to get a few hours in and be off the water by 9am. The fish had changed our itinerary as we couldn’t leave biting fish after finally #PiecingThePuzzle! 8 hard, long days and nights and we finally cracked a little bit of the code on the last session. Go figure…

Lots more fish catches coming from this series! Make sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out on more adventures!

Video has become one of the most valuable learning tools in fishing, as important to learn from as watching “tape” is in any sport. The only thing that beats it is actually LIVING it.

  1. Damn.. ive used 100lb flouro leader for musky for 4years and never been broken off. A friend of mine has used 100 or 120 for 20years of musky fishing and never been chewed off w the exception of being lazy and using old line/not tying a new trace. Them barra's are tough fish!
