What type and pound test line are you recommending for that set up? Sorry, I sent this before I saw that you explained it. 17lb fluorocarbon line. Got it.
I just don't like that the honeycomb is too far up or that the tail is a bit too long. This and Strike King's new swimbaits are same in that regards. Short strikes galore.
I love the coleshaid love the tush hook so looking forward two putting them together what size tush hook you said was good for the 5inc one
Howdy MS, hope all is well. I used the TUSH for the first time a few weeks ago in northern WI and caught everything! Smallies, largies, northern… so much fun. I was using the 1/8 ounce 2/0 and a three inch crush city paddle tail. I bought a handful of TUSH hooks in 2/0 and 4/0 with different weights and soon realized that you need a thick plastic to get over the heavier weights, like 1/4 ounce on a 2/0. If I want to fish a 1/4 or 3/8 ounce TUSH should I really be buying a larger hook so plastics can get over the weight? Thanks for the education. Cheers, JJ

I cut the harness out of a 6in I bought before they came out with the unrigged version, I wanted to be able to fish around lay downs with a swimbait hook and it works awesome!

I'm glad Berkley listened. It is much more versatile for rigging now. Don't forget to add a spinner blade to make it an underspin too. I like the Z-Man TRD spin if I'm in a hurry but there are other homemade ways to rig a spinner also.

Im really into the Bucca Burrito style boot tails. They're more natural in appearance in motion. Similar to a storm largo. But are solid and have a natural profile with a really subtle thump and minimum body roll. The thumps let you know when you're fishint it at the proper speed
I want the unrigged Cull Shad but hadn’t thought about the Tush for it. I have the factory rigged Cull Shads, but haven’t fished it much because bottom rigged swim baits are snag fests in the ponds I bank fish.
I will order some more Tush hooks to try with them when they start showing up. Can’t wait. 😎
