The Duality Of Fishing Big Swimbaits // Chasing The One

On this day, I started it off with snapping off one of my favorite Hinkle Trouts on a good fish. Trying not to be too discouraged, I kept fishing that day and ended up sticking two nice fish on the big swimbait. The highs and lows come and go when chasing the one.

  1. Wh.ere i live i catch 22 and 23 even 24 inch bass very regularly,on 4.79 a 20 pack trick type worms on a dropshot.i do own a couple of more expensive glides but catch more numbers and just as big on cheap finesse type worms.

  2. What kind of knot were you using when you broke off the Hinkle Trout on the hook set at the beginning of the video? Were you using a Palomar, Double San Diego, Double Uni or some other kind of knot? Check out the Tornado HH Knot from Sunline. This is the only knot I ever use for swimbait fishing. When tied correctly, It is 100% straight strength. I trust this knot with my life!

  3. I try to avoid the snap hookset for that exact reason………i want to load up the fish then swing. I'm determined to get that hinkle trout fish

  4. Almost that time of year. Btw isn’t there a sunken fence where you snapped your line. Also, I know by the marina lies very expensive baits. I’ve witnessed a few go down where that biggun was caught.

  5. To all the Scopers out there….THIS is fishing…Angler vs Fish….maybe he scopes off camera… who knows…But this video he's using his own skills, talents, and techniques to catch bass…Great video! I'd have to consider him the best big bait guy on you tube…Big bait addiction is freakin' real!
