  1. Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

  2. First of all I am a new fan of your content. Have been subbed for maybe about a month or so now. Hurts to hear about an injury but I know you will bounce back stronger. You could chronicle your recovery from you injury over time for a video at a later date as 1 idea. I also have an interest in learning how you learned to cast and the precision in your casts. No job currently so I cant really invest in decent baitcaster but I am definitely interested in the process of learning the ins and outs of casting with them and the different ways. I have also seen you skip baits across the water under docks and wanted to know how that works as well. Like is it specific to certain kinds of lures or can it be done with any or many….

  3. It’s be tight to have an extra polarized lens on the camera to help cut that glare and film the bass. Also in the beginning would’ve been a perfect time to drop a go pro in the water for some up close shots
