In this video we finish the carved wooden swimbait lure, we started last week…and take the Swim’n eel for a test fish.

Just to follow up; the lure ended up weighing right at 58g total with the hooks. I get a lot of questions about where I get materials, paints and accessories for these projects. I try to find the best deals on Amazon and I share them in my Amazon store. Follow this link to check it out: https://www.amazon.com/shop/engineeredanglerlures
As I have retired 5 years ago (I am almost 70) I have time to build lures. Following exactly your instructions I have build my first crankbaits (with and without lip) that work absolutely perfect. Next I want to try is building your eel-lure. What I am not familiar with is air brushing also as i have not the equipment. That will come, believe me ! So: stay healthy and creative, and many thanks for your videos !!!!!!!
Unbelievable engineering ๐ !
What if we mix fine wood powder with silicone and then shape that dough by using lure molds ?
Way cool. Well done.
4 piece would be so cool.
I like the comb trickโฆโฆโฆ.
How long was the fish? (LMB)
Could you try making a soft swimbait but with silicone instead of plastisol?
Franco what wood to you recommend for a top water floating duck lure
Franco I have a question when you use the mesh fabric for your scale pattern is it possible to use paint brushes if you don't have a airbrush system
Needlefish swimbait
love the action!
What a bait and fish !
I have a question unrelated to this video. Can u tell me why my suspending Jerkbaits float in the winter?
Amen! I knew you were gonna catch on that. Loved the whole process. Great job
Good Job ๐You are doing good work. Greetings from Germany
I think the bass was around 4lbs
Nice action on that lure. You did a great job!
I would like to see you tackle a multi segmented small flounder that has the serpentine action just up and down instead of horizontally. If you could pull that off I think it would be an incredible saltwater lure!!! I would also be totally impressed with your fluid dynamic prowess.
I'm pretty sure that would be great for snook, big jacks, rooster fish, cobia, tarpon and other salty fish. Cool. Catches nice bass too. I'd love a silver sided one with black back.
Another awesome lure
Wow-wee that action!!
Great build ++
Loved the video! Always makes my Fridays better!
Cool lure
Nice lure & fish ๐ the tech info you give is priceless many thanks ๐๐
Where can I find that stencil? I really need one
That's a work of art. Need to make a fishing deco for fishing spearing.
Jointed Goby?
Sweet!
Beautiful swimmer, cool ๐ฃ ๐
Awesome dude. Nice work
Would love to see your interpretation of a swimming crawdad lure.
Great video, footage was very good. Looking forward to the next bait.
That lure is awesome, and NICE BASS TOO!!!!!!!!
Do a Bluegill Swimbait please?
Very nice Franco! Great "fish approved" action ๐
That lure turned out awesome and it has great action! Congrats on the bass too!
Franko another great job!!!!! Truly very talented.
Fishing with Levis, 100% style ๐
Very nice lure ยก!!!!!!ยก
Very nice Bait ๐๐ Wish i could do this
Great job. I was up at 5 this morning and very pleased to see the video posted. Snowing and 30 degrees here in Southern Maine, might as well add another lure idea for striper fishing. I can see that lure being slammed by one no problem. Keep em coming.
You've got truly great skills with a very broad range. Fantastic. Used your instruction to make some umbrella rigs. I think they turned out well. Thank you.
