  1. Not trying to flex but my lightest musky rods would handle that no problem. And for anyone looking to save on a real heavy rod look at musky rods, you can still get a quality one for under $150

  2. I think if you cut the channel on your glide bait to a 22 degree angle on the tail side that go’s into the channel cut it will do what you want it to do. That’s the angle I use on mine. Hope it helps

  3. Pike love them big swim baits. I was fishing a couple years back in the early morning and I heard this big splashing noise. A guy about 100 yards down was throwing a huge rainbow trout bait. He landed 3 nice northern pike.
