Ya losing a swimbait everytime i catch a fish isnt worth it. For the amount of fish i lose on this rig which is almost 1 or 2 out of 15 fish im good with that. Lol swimbaits r mad expensive now lol

I use.long shank hook jigs.Your rig will snag more often, effect the action of your paddle tail, more work, costs more,and is harder to temove from fish.
This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. I’ll live with the missed bites. Who has the money to destroy jig heads. Bidenomics still going strong!

We fished "Stinger" hooks on charlie Brewer Sliders back in the 70's.
but wont you lose your bait? line connected to jig, jig connected to hook.
Why would you cut the hook off the jig though? That serves no purpose everyone knows of stinger hooks but cutting hook off only makes it less effective

Use a line through swimbait head and skip destroying your single hook jigheads.

I will most certainly try this method, I also love to use a trailing hook setup, adding a second hook to that single hook in the plastic paddle tail… It gets them every time, trying to nip the tail off 😁

I just bought some 6th sense line through swimbait jig heads that do this basically but you put your line through the nose of the jig head and the head also has a screw lock to hold the swimbait on. Then you just add your own treble hook to the back! I can't wait to try them out!
