This is a great bait. I live near Toronto Canada and went out last week for Largemouth Bass on lake Scugog and ironically hooked 3 muskies with the 3.5" ripper. I was throwing whopper ploppers, Keitechs, Booyah spinnerbaits but all 3 fish bit the Do-it ripper in pearl white with silver flake I literally made the day before.
Nice! What is the mold made of? Aluminum?
Do you think they will make this in a 4.5"?
Just bought it. I've loved my 3inch ripper. The action is astounding. I've been wanting to get a 3.5inch but I didn't want the 1x CNC mold. What a perfect time for this to come out.
I was talking with a couple tournament pros and a few of them say that their secret is to really matte up the baits, especially in cloudy conditions or murky water.
I have a couple of cnc swim baits but my $20 used ripper mold makes baits to outfish them all.
Like the videos of making the lures and seeing actual fish catches! Would like to see how you made the color on the ripper. Thanks for sharing!
I like that it's a good price point but for the same amount of money you should check out the BA shad in various sizes from Fat Guys Fishing. I use the 5" for laker trout jigging and it slays.
