What kind of line do u throw a 2-4ish ounce glide bait on? Right now I’m using 25lbs floro. But it makes me nervous throwing $70-$100 bait. I got lucky and the 1st fish I caught on a Chad shad snapped the line shortly after I landed it. So since then haven’t fully the floro with that much money on the end of my line.
So am I crazy or did he rip one a 8:17 in the vid?
I always wondered about the skinny fish problem. I recently caught a 23.5 inch bass that weighed 4.36 pounds…..it should have about double that weight.

the little Northland swimbaits are good for fishing small baits for big suspended fish

I prefer throwing a clear or more transparent bait, especially Topwater. I feel like I can get away with throwing a bigger bait, especially a walking type bait. A bigger bait is easier to work and and more accurate to cast.
Let's hope that fart ain't as slick as you are for pulling that off.
