What’s a cheap rod to use would a 7,6 flip stick be alright to use? I ain’t never fished swimbaits so I’m looking into it I got a bunch of 6th sense ones from a sale and idk how heavy of a rod to really use

The big one looks good I’m definitely going to order some. But the small one doesn’t do it for me. For one the big one is usually the smallest swim I use. And the little ones hooks are too big. With the $4 difference I’d go for the bigger one all day.

At sportsmans club we can do both monster bass but boat to big so sometimes shoot and go elsewhere. Or fish somewhere then shoot and sleep at club? Idk? Nice healthy bass. anybody else had problems where the swivel that the hook goes on breaks? my buddy had one for a day and couldnt even catch a fish before it broke

@LOJO I bought the jr. contender and I had a bass on and the line broke off. I was so pissed I actually about threw my whole rod in the water I was so mad.

Just bought 5 of these. I'm new to swimabits but liked how these looked. I pond hop here in New Hampshire since I got out of the military. BUT I did buy two of the bigger ones hoping to go back to Oneida lake or the Saint Lawrence River again. That's where I learned to fish and really cut my teeth. Love the colors now I'm just waiting for it to get warmer here in New England.
Trust me y’all gotta buy this. The 2nd cast I ever made with it I caught my PB Bass which was around 4 pounds.

That reel you are using has a crazy sound on the cast, sounds like a robot 😆. Is that sound from the line you use or just the high speed bearings? I have 2 13 fishing reels and they do not sound that way

Good video.. I only have 1 issue. I've watched a lot of your videos recently. I'm new to fishing and your videos are awesome and help out slot. My issue is in your videos you do a great job of describing your product and how to use them,but you don't let us know,for us new to the game. What equipment to use,once in awhile your say the rod type to use but I barely ever hear what type of fishing line to use.? Doesn't some line affect the action of some lures? So my question is what type of line would your suggest using when fishing the Jr Contender..?
