Fishing for smallmouth bass at the New River, in Hinton, West Virginia. I started at Sandstone Falls and didn’t do any good, but caught two at Brooks Falls, and one at a public stream access. I caught two on a Bitsy Minnow and one on a swimbait.

I only carry 3 lures a rapala a rooster tail and white grub seens all I ever need . and 1 rod …does the trick .
good job…but the fish came out of the water 4:10, and didn't go back til 6:40. That's a little too long in my book. I understand smallmouth on the new river is a hearty breed… I fished there many times. other than that congrts
