This swimbait trick could change the way you fish for bass. In this video, I reveal a deadly secret that no one’s talking about — modifying soft plastic swimbaits like Keitech-style paddletails and fluke style baits with small blades to add extra flash and live-action movement. This simple tweak makes your swimbait look more natural, triggers more strikes by adding flash, and helps you stand out when bass are pressured. I’ll walk you through exactly how to rig it, the components you need, and the best swimbaits for modification to dominate your next bass fishing tournament. Whether you’re fishing clear water, grass edges, or deep structure, this swimbait modification will give you a little tournament edge. #SwimbaitFishing #BassFishing #FishingHack #SwimbaitRig #FishingTips #Tournament #BassFishingTips #hack

Bro – where’d you get that shirt???
I do this on my stick baits and ned rigs sometimes. I also put them in the belly of a swim bait for a cheap underspin
Certainly not saying you copied him, but I saw the same trick on Low Brow fishing last week. Ordered so gold and silver spinners!
Learned from you been a good one!🤛
I got a bunch of spinner blades with screw locks to do that for flounder and redfish in the saltwater.
You wanna catch bigguns’ apply this with a swim jig, you’re welcome.
I use those spinners on stick baits and have caught a bunch of fish. Also caught several big uns on it.
This is actually an old trick a lot people forgot about. Some of us still do it. Glad you share secrets with people.
I do the same thing with the Zoom 7 inch June Bug. Also a Senko. It works. Good tip.
I started doing that a few years back on a pressured lake I fish alot. I would also do it with trick worm that worked really well.
Appreciate the tips
Excellent! Im gonna get me some tailspins made up! Go, MBRF 💥 🎣 🤙.
i have been doing this with the Zman TRD and the Zman tail spin for years!
Ok hear me out. That same blade idea, but on a Texas rigged fat ace🤫🤫
Messed with that on Fork In March when I was in Texas and was doing that to some Carolina rigs getting some like that with stick baits
Cool tip. Thanks
Trust me!!!!
1. Take a Swinging Football Jig Head.
2. Add a Zappu Twin blade of choice
3. Add Tightlines UV Hy-Brid Craw Rattling 4".
Now you have a big presentation that rattles and gives off flash.
Deadly on rock piles, points, and ledges.
Gonna try it
ever have one come out in the fishes mouth and they swallow it? Can't be good if that happens
Interesting video Mikey. I'll give a try, my friend. 💯
Great tip!!
I've done that with stickbait worms. Bass kill it.
Thinking out of the box
4:35 gave me some real Tyrone biggums vibes. 😂
I’ve done that with top water lures. Didn’t get results before or after. A plastic that’s metalized or has reflective tape would be lighter.
Bama rig
🤘🎣
Super Nice , looks killer too
Very nice, got to give it a shot 🎣
Been doing that for years
Love it 🎉
