Can crappie swimbaits catch large mouth bass?

New subscriber here. The past few months the only thing I have been able to catch any bass on are crappie size baits, it seems like they want nothing to do with bigger baits only 1-1/2 to 2 inch size is all they wanted. Maybe because of the colder water temps in January & February downsizing is the way to go???? A lot of dinks but I have caught some nice bass, 15 – 18 inchers on ultralight gear while fishing for crappie and other panfish. That is always fun on ultralight gear!!!
