We had a killer day out there slinging the big swimbaits, hoping for that one magic bite. Happy to put a 6-pounder in the boat! Moved to the next main lake point and finally got the big thump I was looking for… then the dreaded snap! Said goodbye to another expensive swimbait. You win some, you lose some (and sometimes you lose expensive tackle!). That’s big bait fishing for ya.
