  1. Your buying into the widely told swimbait myths about how to present and work big baits I've caught bass burning the Huddleston sub surface and working glides in 45 degree water and catching bass up to 7 pounds. Also have caught bass on glidebaits inches off the bottom where I can feel myself hitting rocks and I've caught 4-9 pound bass doing that.

  2. I agree 100% about your comment relating to the similarities between a jerkbait and a glidebait. Too many people act like a glidebait fits more in the crankbait category, but that just isnt the case in my experience. I caught my first big s-waver fish in 40 degree water.

  3. yes i was asking you in the last live stream you made but you never really answered. Im fishing in a small lake northern CA and they stock the lake w/ trout and the true 6 and 7 pound smallies (no one believes they are they though I caught a 6 1/2 pounder) I have the equipment to throw giant baits. Would it be worth it to throw 8 and 9 inch glides and some 8 inches huddlestons

  4. Great video! Nice to see other smallie hunters embracing the bigger swimbaits. The perch Hud 68 has been a great lure for me this past spring. Unfortunately, the pike have torn it to shreds…

  5. I really need to expand my swim bait arsenal, but I also need to buy a rod/reel for the big swim baits too somehow. Going to be hard until I find a job… but I think I have what it take to put a 25 lb. bag in the boat this year.

  6. Man, I've got to come up your way next year. What is it like a 4-5 hour drive from Chicago? Totally worth it for those smallies. Congrats on the growth of your channel this year. You deserve it. Tight lines.

  7. A large smallmouth is definitely capable of hammering those larger baits… my largest SMB came on a 5" jackel gantarel bluegill. I hope you accomplish all your goals for 2017!
