Swimbait Chronicles went River running with big swimbaits for striped bass – vlog-002

River running for stripers. a day in the life of a swimbait angler searching for big stripers. You can skip forward to 4:57 for a overview of all the baits we threw and gear we used.
The river is a fickle beast and stripers are nomadic little tricksters…unfortunately we just weren’t able to locate a good school of stripers this day. Had a couple of bites, and one big fish sighting but nothing past that. Till next time.. Thanks for watching.

  1. Awesome video. I think this video helped me figure out what rod I'm gonna buy. Been going back n forth on what rod to buy. It's hard for me to trust the lure ratings that companies are putting on their rods these days. The mega bass leviathan seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. Thx fellas..

  2. Just wanted to comment and let you know how much I appreciate your channel.

I'm trying to get into swimbait fishing, starting with watching almost anything I can find. You're channel has really provided a lot of valuable information for me. So thank you for that!

Also I want to reiterate an earlier comment someone made about you making a beginner setup video… I would love to see something like that.

    Keep up the great work!

  3. Very good video… Your equipment and editing is on point. I saw your video at Sahara… I've been trying to get in that place for a year haha. Try throwing 12" plastics. I hear there's huuuuge bass in there

  4. Thanks for sharing some info and showing us some love! It's usually harder to coax tips out of the guys who know willow then it is to catch a huge fish! lol
    Thanks!

  5. Superb! I'm so glad I checked out this channel. The video is beautiful, the sound is crisp, the edits are on point, the information is top notch. I don't know jack about swim baits, but I trust I'm in the right place to learn. I'm in for the journey. Tight Lines Sir!

  6. so I'm blowing your shit up right now and I apologize lol. getting further into the vid I saw your buddy had the leviathan. that's actually the rod I went with. megabass makes a good product. what does your buddy think of it? I've fished it once. no fish on it yet

  7. just subbed. recently put together a swimbait setup and picked up a bunch of huds and s wavers. we will see how it goes. pretty dedicated to throwing just big baits for awhile. invested alot of money into the setup so impretty much all in at this point
