Today I’m bass fishing with a new swimbait! This is the first bass I’ve caught on this new lure. After fishing with a jerkbait for a while, at two different locations. I decide to switch it up to a new lure I just purchased. The jointed swimbait is a hard lure with interlocking sections. Its segmented shape creates a unique swimming action. A big largemouth bass just couldn’t resist as it swam by. I caught my biggest bass of the year so far on this lure. Have you fished with this type of hard jointed swimbait?

Nice Bass. That lure is a good colour for cloudy water, nice and reflective. Bet it would be deadly on a sunny day with clearer water. KIR

Nice bass! If, as you sometimes say, you had to live off what you caught, that would've made a nice change of pace from all the bluegill! I have yet to catch a bass myself, but I've filleted one or two that others out fishing have donated, and they are a tasty fish. Congratz on 'breaking in' the new hat, too!
