3 Swimbaits for beginners w/ Chad Hoover from kayakbassintv- I sit down with Chad Hoover from Kayak bassin tv and go over my choice’s for 3 swimbaits for beginners who have never thrown a swimbait before while bass fishing. 3 Cheap and easy presentation’s to get you from the top to the bottom of the water column that you don’t need specialized gear to throw. A spro bbz top water rat, River 2 sea S-waver 168, and a Huddleston 68 Special. All 3 of these swimbaits are inexpensive and will have you covered in most any situation. And hopefully land you a new personal best!

What Happend To James,I Liked His Videos
Anyone know what happened to this channel? haven't seen new content for ages..
Really hope he’s doing alright these days
Where did this guy go
Still late….
Have you fished the 10 in megabass magedraft with the weedless mod.
Talks about budget & beginner baits while showing $400 glide baits
How about a slammer instead of a rat? I got a used one on a good deal, it's basically the same presentation
Nice have the 168 just ordered a baitsanity trout and a imakatsu bassroid triple double wakebait trout looking forward to that first bite Cheers!! :))
Come back to YouTube man please
3:30 I could be mistaken, but doesn't the s-waver suspend? When I fish my 168, it sinks about 3-5 feet max and then wont go any deeper.
Thanks bigdogg! Love the video's
I love Chad Hoover!
My SWaver 168s broke my flipping stick
great video man. I really enjoy your stuff. just started up a swimbait focused chanel. great information.
I just got into the swimbait game and I am starting to cover the water column. I was wondering what color spro rat would you recommend for water that looks like chocolate milk?
how do you go about retrieving the rat, i have a few but definitely dont have the confidence to use it
its like a cult
Very good information. Thank you both for taking the time to create and post this.
I also appreciated the description of angling evolution. I had not considered it before, but in retrospect, it is spot on. For me, the evolution has not been a one-way trip. Sometimes I find I am frustrated while in the "method fishing" phase, and revert back to "many fish" or even "any fish". Then, I progress back into a particular "method", such as swimbait, jig, buzzbait (so addictive when the bite is on).
Again, many thanks for the good videos from both of you.
what is the best way to store swimbaits like huddlestons 68, s wavers 168, spro bzz1 6", and jackall gantarel jr?
Hey could you do a video on swim bait tackle storage for beginners man? A box that's organized and were I only have a few baits
New to this channel but very good video. I just got an 8 inch Huddleston recently; thinking about putting it on a 7 foot ugly stick with a 5500 ambassadour. I'm new to swimbaiting so I was just curious about your thoughts on my plan. Keep up the good information!! Excited to learn more.
dose the river/lake/any body of water you fish have to have trout in it for you to throw a trout swimbait ik that's probably a dumb question but I'm just wondering
One word….Magdraft!
Can u throw the smaller hud on an medium heavy
Nice video. Great info!
I still don't understand the swimbait only mindset. It limits the amount and big fish you will catch. I could see doing it for stripers but huge bass love small jigs and worms. I love this channel because it's my go to spot for swimbaits but the truth is… conditions have to be perfect for me to throw a huge swimbait. If I was in a bass tourney I would probably throw it less than 5% of the time because quantity is more important. Anyway, awesome video and I'm glad you made it down there to fish with Chad. Very cool
Great vid, can't wait to see more
hahaha cool video
You guys are a good team, I wanna see more collab videos of you both 👍🏽
Awesome video James! I'll be at clear lake December 30, driving all the way from Iowa! I have the swimbait addiction as well, going to be chucking 8" hudds looking for that giant!
I'll be waiting to see how you did out here in the southeast with these big baits. I just started fishing with them myself and haven't had any luck…yet!
Can you please do a video of the Roman made mother in the water
Wow that was epic! Nice video with the Kayak King!
What is that bluegill bait that chad is holding on to??
Thanks guys, just started looking into swimbait fishing. This was a big help!
