Ive had carp here in florida eat baits as well. Tilapia as well
That lure would be snagged immediately and lost. I hesitate to spend more than $20 on any lure for that very reason lol.
Yeah but a 25 cent zoom fluke would have also caught that bass!
My guess is the carp was spawning and it struck the swimbait out of defense

People don’t realize why custom glide baits are so expensive but there is so much that goes into them the weighting design details and materials but you don’t have to go buy a custom glidebait because tech has come so far with molded abs glides, the Bucca Trick Shad 6in, Spro KGB Chad Shad, Savage Gear Shine Glide Glide and the Baitsanity Chimera Shad are all awesome abs glides that perform almost identical to a resin glide.
