If you can hear the kids all is pretty good but when they all get quiet, better go see what's going on. I've caught flounder on lures like you've got there. Never fished off the jetties w/ them but back in the marsh of Eastern Texas/Western Louisiana I've got into the flounder w/ baits similar to those, perhaps 1/2 the weight(1 ounce size).
