The last day of our August Musky Hunt on Eagle Lake in Northwest Ontario starts out with some cool topwater action using some unique topwater baits, one of which is a Chaos Tackle shadillac swimbait with the lip removed (the lip easily can be removed by giving it a pull with some pliers) The bite remains tough, and it’s hard to decide whether to target the fish in the weeds or on rock structures. As usual, the muskies are being difficult, but we try to keep figuring them out to the bitter end!
