Shallow Bass LOVE swimbaits! (Kayak Bass Fishing)

I got to meet up with a bunch of members from the Kingston Canoe and Kayak Fishing Club on a lake I’ve never fished to try and catch some late summer bass! I tried a bunch of different types of lures, but all but one of the bass I caught that day were on swimbaits that I MADE!

I don’t know about you guys, but many of the videos out there on youtube that teach how to catch late summer bass don’t really apply to the lakes I fish in Southern Ontario, so I’m trying to piece this picture together on my own, and I can tell you that ripping swimbaits over top of shallow weeds has really paid off for me so far!
