Spent three days on Chickamauga on our way home from Guntersville (check out our video of the 90 pounds of fish we caught there!). The first day, the current was really fast and the water was really low. Then a cold front came through, the current died, and the water started rising. These changing conditions caused the bass to re position, making it hard to get a pattern going, since the usual pre-spawn things weren’t working. Scott stopped on a random good-looking point while we were running, and caught an almost 7 pound largemouth! But then after an hour the bite there died, and we never got bit there again despite stopping back a dozen more times. There was a Costa FLW tournament during the days we fished, so it was really interesting to see their results. The winner caught a huge bag, but a large number of the pros were skunked both days. Scott and I both love Chickamauga for the potential that every cast has to be a giant, so we will be back to try again soon!

Nice job on that underspin 👍
Your right. Was a awesome looking trip. So glad your back after the chilly weather.
We were there the same weekend. Fun times for sure. Fish seemed deeper than I would have guessed. Seemed like you all were fishing deeper as well. Nice video
