My buddy @FISHERYIN hooked me up with a 9″ Berkley Nessie last week to test out. I saw this bait at iCast and was really looking forward to getting my hands on one. Though this bait has stirred up a bit of controversy, I gotta say for the short time I was able to fish it….I like what I saw. Let me know what you think down below.

Just bought one and your review and a few others make me feel good. It’s very likely you got bit by a gar or something with teeth. My thoughts is that it imitated a baitfish well enough to lure in a big fish.
Looks like your knot got loosened
Seen a Tarpon snap 200 pound test leaders. Sounds like a 9mm going off. Lol
Halfway through the video before it gets wet ..
Braided line Maybe?
MUSKY??
I bought mine exact same pattern the shad pattern 7 inch and it was only $10 with tax $11
6 for a price of 1, yea nty……berkley wins hands down. if that is the case
My first fish on a Nessie 5 green pumpkin was a 26” rainbow trout broke me when trying to land him in my kayak🤦♂️
Fluorocarbon is shit!
Mad respect for editing and posting this video. I appreciate the honesty.
2:56 is when the review actually starts 🫨
Rod name?
I’ve been hitting some big smallies on the Potomac with these great bait
Line burn? Flouro?
That's why you don't LOCK down the drag… if you set the hook and the drag doesn't slip a little at the end its too tight.
dude you got a shark
They definitely ripped them off
My fishing buddy bought a new hi dollar lure. First cast and snap! It was loud and gone. We walked around the lake and it was a windy day and I found a brand new lure. It was his. Lol. I got the first, most and biggest for the day. He caught a handful.
There are a million brands of baits and they all copy each other. It looked like Berkley changed it some as they usually do.
We’re in America though not Japan… The same bait will cost more simply cause it’s from Japan and not available. Who cares. 10-200 dollar glide baits and they all lose fish the same.
Probably a monster snakehead
Thats why you dont set the hook really hard im a bass fisherman i also fish for catfish but i seen tons of bass fisherman either break their line on a big fish or break there rod i swear people need to learn how to fish better
Caught me 5 different 5lber in the 1 month ive been throwiny the berkley nessie 7
Just for laughs I bought one of these at the outdoor shop today and I ran out to my local lake and tossed it around, it's still early up here for bass fishing I feel but I thought the lure felt great and had great action, can't wait to see if a giant pike takes it this weekend
Bro 6:03 you still had ur lure stop fronting dude
Pikezilla just stole that new lure
Had to be a pike or musky thoughts???
