Hitting up a pond since my car was in the shop and I couldn’t drop the kayak in. I only had 1 – 2 hours of daylight left, we had some cold weather, and I figured I would go all in on some swimbait fishing. I recently got my hands on the 86 baits Tempest Gill glide and wanted to get bit on it. 86 Baits makes some amazing shad style glides that I am a big fan of, and even though this one is more gill shaped, it still has the stability and hard choppiness of a Doomrider shad glide. Very effective for triggering bites, and as you can see from the video, I am giving this bait some hard chops throughout the retrieve.
