Spill the beans, why don't you? Just about a 365 day a year bait for me.
One of my favorite baits to throw in June when the small mouth are up shallow on Sturgeon Bay
did Berkley copy Megabass to win iCast's "Best Of Show" this year, with their new "Gilly" swimbait?
Love to see you do some vids on Florida shallow weed filled natural lakes. Since moving from Midwest finding out Florida is a different animal. Gives me much appreciation for you guys that can go anywhere and catch
This is gonna sound terrible, but them (walleye) love them too…lol. Is it okay to say walleye on this bass channel? 😀
soft spybait i call it. 👍
Thanks Randy.
Just got some of those hazendong shads and been fishing them on jig head with underspin. Gotta try that jig head.
Unfortunately the keeper on those are terrible. Cant use superglue, so buy a lot of baits lol.
I caught 2 big largemouth back to back a couple weeks ago on the screw head with spark shad. One was 3.5lbs and then the next was 5lbs! Then continued to catch fish on it throughout the day.
I use the Megabass destroyer rod flyssa. It was created for this bait, you can cast it super far and it has incredible sensitivity. Worth a shot!
Remember Randy when you get the haters, fishing is s sport and you know how many people like to comment on any sport like football, baseball or any sport…some are close and some are right.and the rest don't have a clue!…keep up the great work..!
This is one of my favorite heads for a finesse swimbait.. I put it on the spark shad the 3-in version.. and also use these exact swim baits.. the only thing I would say about these heads is that I don't like the bait keeper. I wished they had a better bait keeper or maybe a secondary Barb on the backside of the hook.. and also a better Barb on the hook itself would make hookup ratio a lot better because I can't tell you how many bites I've gotten on this exact setup that you have in your hand but I can't get a majority of those fish to the boat because when they jump they have a tendency of being able to spit this bait very easily and I don't know why but I have taken the time to sit down with a file and file out the groove behind the Barb making the Barb a little bigger and it makes my hookup ratio a lot better… But as far as all around set up this is the ideal finesse swim bait!!
I fricken love the Okashira swim jig. That thing is deadly just like he said, and everything attacks it.
I’ve been using a wisller jig head for years. I put 4 and 5 in grubs on it.
Thanks Randy I had picked up some of those screw heads and some 3 inch spark shads a few months back but haven’t had a chance to fish them yet. Thanks I love your channel keep up the good work thanks
I literally just bought okashira screwheads, 3" hazedongs and 3" spark shads yeaterday!
What size head do you like Randy? Thanks for the tips!!
50 years ago a 3” baby catfish minnow paddle tail an was a secret all this time, jig head style made a difference in the balance an the swimming side to side wobble smallmouth candy also works for walleye, Columbia river gold .
It's a killer smallmouth bait too with the 2.8 keitech trailer
