Is Fishing With The $400 Roman Made Mother A Waste Of Time And Money?

The Roman Made Mother is not your everyday swimbait, 12″ long and 10.5 ounces, it’s a true giant glide bait. Today, I go out and see if it’s actually practical at all or if it’s just a complete waste of time and money!

  1. That’s freaking crazy! You def know what you’re doing using the Romanmade mother! Still trying to get my mother fish, only had two followers but no commitment. Nicely done man!

  2. There are a ton of Musky baits that are pretty much just like that bait, but are way cheaper, have bigger hooks and cost a hell of a lot less. You might want to try using some to catch bass with. We catch some big small mouth bass on Lake St. Clair on musky baits, so I know they work. lol. You could get a dozen Musky baits for the price of that bait (at about $30 each).

  3. Finally. Bass "fishing". Thank God. Im not giving them flat brimmin', screen watchin', weenie worm shakin', neck broken, dirty scopin' dogs not one more view. Please tell me this is true. Subbed.

  4. Nothing like a bit of breeze to get the bite going. I throw a Negotiator often and love the action, but I'm not sure I'd enjoy tossing a 10+ ouncer all day long, either. I'll stick with my 250s

  5. Your opening statement is so true… at least for me anyway. A 12 inch lure is too much for me to cast from the bank. I made one of these lures from Poplar wood a few years back after seeing Marling Baits make one. It has a Rainbow Trout paint scheme and looks much like the real deal. Since this was just too big for me, I gave it to my brother who lives on the coast and takes people out on fishing trips. Then I made a Roman Made Negotiator for myself. So much more practical for my fishing needs. I've made a few more since, and really like this style lure… just not its price! 😂
