Each fall, I like to make a few trips to Lake Arlington to target largemouth bass as they tend to feed quite aggressively close to shore. Historically, I have done very well using swimbaits which is exactly what I did this year. Although I will be honest, the bite wasn’t as good as it has been in prior years, I was still able to get into some numbers of small to average size fish and had a big one on for a few moments before getting off right at my feet. All fish were caught and released and caught on a Storm Wild Eye Shad.

Here in North Carolina the temps have been up and down, all over the place the past couple of weeks and I can't get anything to bite a moving/swim bait. The only thing I've had luck with is finesse rigs, and even that has been tough.
