I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. Thanks for the video. I always struggle with second guessing if my using the correct retrieve while I’m retrieving. Do you have any tips on knowing what depth your swimbait is in? That’s another thing I struggle with.
with the stright retrive I allso do some pop's, just a flicker liked a spooked litle baitfish. Seems to trigger a fish that follows and sometimes during the drop/pengelum as well. Been using the tuch with the berkly powerswimmer. Never done the durning alon the bottom but I will give it a go. 🙂 Ty for the tips Matt.
I do use football jig head tick the bottom with swimbait.. love the tush too

Excellent présentation on a lure that I’m struggling with in AZ lakes.
Despite my careful attempts to rig a Keitech 2.8 or 3.3 onto a 3/16 TUSH, the plastic splits and explodes on the lure. I have to place VMC O rings and super glue to hold the presentation together. I’m certain the underwater action is poor.
I really like Keitech; however, any guidance for rigging a small Keitech or is there a similar plastic made by a company you trust that could be easier for me to rig?

This is the kind of video that I watch your channel for. All of those retrieves should work for the saltwater. Letting the bait hit the bottom and reeling quick for a few turns and letting it hit again is a great way to catch flounder. I'm going to play with these ideas tomorrow for redfish and trout.
I wish you'd come catch some salty fish with me in the Chesapeake Bay sometime.

This is great tips and I love the TUSH line of jigs, both finesse and the larger sizes. I used to use the ballhead jigs with a curly tail grub, and now that finesse TUSH has solved so many issues 👏👏👏👏👏🍀🎣🍀
