  1. Very knowledgeable angler for sure! I have figured them out but cannot land the big ones I hooked 4 this year I have lost sleepover and I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it sucks

  2. Hey guys,Thank you for posting, I really enjoy watching. I'm in Kentucky. Where are you ? What area or areas do you fish mostly? Things are very different where I live. Bass fisheries are not exactly great. Just curious because this might not exactly apply where I am. 🙂

  3. A tip I learned from my grandpa when dropshotting trick worms is to break off a piece of tooth pick and shove it in the tail end of the worm to also add buoyancy. Works great in Texas.
Also, don’t be afraid to keep a Texas rig tied in as he said. Creature baits still work in the dog days of summer

  4. This time of year, I like to go to the smaller rivers and creeks where there's plenty of current and the water stays cooler and holds more oxygen. The bass act more like spring than the dog days of summer- and the current makes it easier to see where they're going to set up at. Anywhere there's a current break- something sticking out into the river that blocks the current or even a good-sized rock with a still spot right behind it, anywhere there's a curve in the river the current will wash away the bank on the outside until it hits rock- then it makes a vertical rock wall with a deeper pool right in front of it- they love these spots. And really- since you throw against the current and retrieve with it- it takes your bait right to them. They'll set up where the current delivers food to them- so just let the current take your bait and it will deliver it right to the bass. I reel just fast enough to keep the slack out of my line and keep my lure turned the right way and up off bottom- that's it. They hit it hard to- like they're trying to kill it.

  5. I’ve loved fishing top water early in the mornings all summer. In my opinion you just can’t beat a top water bite. It’s so nice to watch the fish just demolish it

  6. "actually it's like 6 or 7 I never quite hit 5 l, but I try" 😂😂😂 Hey matt, we don't mind! 🤙🤙🤙 Appreciate the extras brotha man 💯💯 btw, that was the hardest I've laughed in awhile! Thank you for that

  7. Did he just really say that "up north, where there is no grass what so evere?!?!?!?!" I dont know when the last time you fished "the north" but we have TOOOONNNNS of weeds and grass!! Especially here in New England!

  8. I just discovered your channel recently. I feel like I’ve struck gold. Great info. I’m already catching 3x the fish easily. Better quality fish too. Thank you so much!

  9. Whats different in Aug from July in the south not a dang thing lol everything thats been working still will work. We dont have changes here till later in the year like late sept and October.
