Got a few different soft glides/swimbaits to try out and the best time was right before an afternoon storm. Cloud cover, wind, and slightly cooler weather led to a nice little feeding window before lighting chased me off the lake.

That bait does not seem very durable. What lake are you on?
Man that bait looks nice but I understand about what you are saying too. For what you are paying it should be a lot better than that . But I am glad to see that it got you some fish before the storm rolled In . I am also sorry to see about what happened to your Ankle . I hope that it gets better for you man .
I have used a number of those baits with decent success, the G-Flag gets bit but have not been able to get it swim with a top hook setup, which would be much more productive in heavy grass. Try these Fattube Line Thru tubes on that Kabuna, the 1/8 oz has a big head which would help in not pulling thru, I would also super glue the entire tube when inserting.
