First time trying a swimbait of this size, granted this is small in comparison to some of the ones I saw on the shelf.
Some days I`ve actually caught fish this size on my ultralight, so it`s a bit awkward reeling it in each time lol.
But it totally worked! A little tank of a bass hit it in short order.
Hookset was great but I still hate treble hooks. When keeping trebles rigged up on my rods they seem to hook on anything and everything within a 10 ft radius like clothing and cloth car interiors and not to mention fingers.
Had to cut them out many time so I tend to just avoid them in general.
Overall I give the lazer shad 2 thumbs up. I might replace the treble with an inline hook at some point.
I believe it`s 1/4 oz in weight so It casts great and the action is superb in the water with an excellent hookset. At 5 bux it`s not a bad deal compared to the mega bass ones than are like 10 to 15 bux.
WTH…wild boar snack sticks?? They looked tasty. Seems like that lure should have great action. Interesting, does that lure only have 1 treble hook? That 1st bass was nice. Bummer about the lure. It almost cleared the pond & landed on the other bank.
thats a football
Nice catches Doc ! Sorry about that swim bait. I had that happen a few times too. Be safe !
