  1. Any tips for jig fishing for ponds? I feel like all the youtubers only talk about big lakes with lots of different types of structure but I live in delaware where there are really only ponds around. Ive been fishing since I was a kid but this is the first year I've ever tried using a jig… I've only caught one fish with a jig, it was a nice 4 pounder. I have a few colors of swim jigs, a couple football jigs, and couple I guess normal jigs.. but im guessing I'm just working them wrong because everyone swears by them but I just don't get bites with them

  2. I recently decided to take the plunge into fresh water fishing and purchased a Daiwa Tatula XT 7' Medium spinning rod and a Daiwa Tatula XT 7'1 MH casting rod based on your video recommendations. I'm currently looking for a 3rd rod and I'm not sure what direction to go? I use the spinning rod for soft plastics, texas rigs, free rigs etc. and the casting rod for any hard baits (crank bait, toppers, frog etc). Should I be looking into a more jig focused rod for swim jigs, pitching and punching? Love the videos as I've learned so much, but this world of rods etc is pretty intimidating lol

  3. Well I can say I will never use any other swim jig then the dirt jigs now after my 6lb tonight. Told the wife I was going to public’s for food …. I lied 😂.

  4. would love to see an in-depth popper video! just inherited my grandfathers tackle and it seems that was one of his favorite ways to fish. seems like it has its own rabbit hole I know you'd totally go down lol

  5. I personally enjoy all the videos. All the information from every video is an awesome thing. I don't own a boat yet so i cant get out in the middle of the lake atm. Bit ive slowly been making changes to my tackle cuz of you Tacticalbassin guys. Been following since yall were in Cali. First video i saw was Matt in some overalls on a boat casting down a kinda narrow stream with no facial hair. Tryin to get me a Berkeley choppo.

  6. I love y’all’s videos and y’all put in a ton of work thank you for everything y’all do! However one day I hope that y’all can maybe take some time to talk about trends and what fish will do during different patterns. For example, weather patterns like rain, wind, sunny, cloudy, fronts etc and maybe even explain what in your opinions on how the moon phases effect fish, the levels of lakes whether high or low. It is a subject I never see really talked about in depth with fishing and hoping one day y’all might share what y’all have learned on the subject! Thank you!

  7. Matt, thanks for an outstanding video with your favorites for July. Agree with all your pics but have to throw in a chatterbaits. Specifically a 1/2 oz white Jackhammer with a 5&1/2 inch white Spunk Shad. You guys are the best.

  8. You guys literally don't even teach us how to catch fish anymore. You guys are literally a commercial now. I've watched it change into this over the years. Sad I've been with you guys for at least 4 years

  9. Hey, was out today and I could see a bait ball on the surface; not blowing up but just corralled right under the surface of the water in the middle of the pond. What’s a good bait to throw into that bait ball? I feel like I could see bass striking about a foot under water

  10. What’s up Matt! I have a company recommendation for you. Toad Thumper Lures. Also I had a question with the previous video, with big worms what would be a good one for New York largemouth? Because I feel as if 15” big worm may be too big for a largemouth.

  11. Chatterbait bass love them hook them every time .and bug like fly bug u can use as top Watergate just slowly reel it in and take your pole go side to side make it look like it trying swimming pit of water make bass chase them and jump at bait
