I don't like those Missle Shockwave swimbaits because the tails deform so easily in the pack that it's not even funny! 2 packs totally wasted.

Love finesse swimbaiting! I find that with a good loop knot (kreh's loop), you can bump the line/leader up to 8 or even 10lb test while retaining full action on the swimbait.
Hi John, nice tips on the jig weight retrieve rate. Also the roll you get on the bait. I've noticed that on baits I got over 30 years ago at a sportsman's show combined with a no collar 3/16 oz ball head. Mine are long gone and I've never found anything like it since.
Also I'm blown away with the electronics available now. I'm surprised they allow the hydro wave in tournaments. I'm aware of E-chips for salmon fishing but not all the noise you can feed the fish now! Amazing! Thanks John, good stuff, great channel!
Great info, but the only luck I have with fluorocarbon on a spinning reel is as a leader. Is the Sunline FC Sniper more compatible with spinning reels than the other brands I've tried?
I fish A LOT of clear water. 15 to 30ft most times and I use an assortment of soft swimbaits. What looks more natural than that? Nothing! I use everything from 7in Basstrix to 2.8in Keitechs. So preach Mr. Crews. Great video guys. W2F rocks!
