Swimbait bass fishing is a technique that has exploded onto the fishing scene in recent years. Jig heads are the perfect way to rig a swimbait for bass fishing in order to mimic baitfish. The jig head locks your swimbait on so you can swim it, burn it, and bounce it. When swimbait fishing on a jig head, Lake Fork Guy recommends biting just a bit off of the top, to shorten it up and give it a more realistic look and feel. When bass are up eating baitfish in the fall and winter, this should be your combo.

I have the best luck when I rig it from the side or upside down. For me it seems to get more action that way. Also I am using MH spinning with a 4:2 :1. My best way is with a 4:1:1 small spool. But I can not find anyone that makes it any more. great videos
